It's a great place to go for a decent burger. It's fast service, convenient, and not as expensive as other burger joints. I would choose here over MacDonald's because the burger tastes like a homemade burger. It is clean, bright, lots of seating available. The staff are friendly and helpful. And they have outlets in the seating area to plug in your phone to charge up, or tablets, laptops, etc. The milkshake is good, tastes like a diner milkshake. Yum!

Amazing clubs

A 80's restaurant superb for a night out with friends. The food quality though could be better. Johnny is similar to a fast food restaurant. Although, the menu is great for kids, I wouldn't recommend for date night.

Best place to eat in St jérome

An awesome comfy diner type restaurant. It's like a place from 20 years ago where you just feel welcome. The club sandwich is amazing! Everything on the menu is super affordable. I live about 45 minutes away and I can't live without this place.

Open late. Classic diner. Great Western sandwich and fries. Very very clean. We came before closing and after the fry cook was done cleaning the grills and equipment looked brand new.

Just stopped here to grab a bite after a long drive from Toronto. Got a cheeseburger and fries. Perfect! Just how I like them! Would go again forsure. Service was very quick for a Saturday night, an employee named Tristan was really nice and gave me a couple of friendly tips for around town. Thanks again Tristan!Also, the poutine looked really good but it would have been a bit too much food for me. Maybe next time.

A St. Jérôme, Hot dog = Johnny

Very nice staff, pretty clean place. Classic dinner experience. Good food, but can be polarizing i.e. using Miracle Whip instead of mayo in everything from club sandwiches to dipping fries. The BBQ sauce is a must if it's your first time, very tasty; fries are the same, awesome! All in all, if you're passing by, it's a worthwhile spot to eat, you won't regret it.

This is the best casse croute north of Montreal. My girlfriend's family is originally from the area and whenever we come up from the city this is our first stop. Some of the best fries you'll ever eat. Authentic dinner feel with a ton of history.

I live around these for more then 20 years so i test many time and many situations... best: buy a big poutine to bring out (in aluminium plate)... wait 20 min. before open it... the sauce will have time to bet in the fries and the cheese will be just perfect!That s how they make it: fries, cheese, fries, cheese and sauce. The cheese is always fresh 48h and less!If you order it in the little foam plate or eat it in normal dish it won t be the same...I did it and i was deceive, big difference...I live in mtl since 2000 and never found better poutine then johnny s place!Enjoy 😉

I love this place. Excellent food great service fare prices, oddly enough the staff that has been working there since the 80's recognize me i know what i order. I tell you try there poutine, Burger's are good to they taste like what a burger should taste like , fresh meet & veggies, nothing is left to chance everything is fresh. Go for a visit take the time to enjoy there menue, they Even serve breakfast.

I went with a cheeseburger, a Michigan hot dog and fries. Honestly, as comfort food goes, this is the best. Cheeseburger is good and cheap! Perfect value. The Michigan hot dog was GREAT. That sauce is on-point. The fries are PERFECT. Literally perfect. Good portion size vs value. it's so worth it though! My personal thing about this place will be a nice stop between going to Tremblant to Montreal. Kid friendly.

Love the unique seating Like a bus or train car. An experience with wonderful friendly and cheerful service. The best club sandwich in town. They also have coin- operated music, and lovely old Coca Cola posters. It is affordable too! Value for your money.

Great place, went more than 10 times and had a perfect service each time!

Nice vintage diner decor. Homey feel with lots of locals, and a majority of older folks on a Sunday. Food wise, our dishes were ok, but not memorable. Our fries were soft and cooked dark, the chicken was pretty bland and we found the gravy to be overly thick (ton of cornstarch?) with a pronounced flavour of spices (clove? Juniper?) that was overwhelming. We are not from the area and came based on the book Sur le Pouce. Overall I wouldn't recommend making a detour for a meal here.
